WILLIAM JACK BOOHER, 81, passed away September 6, 2006 in Miami. Born in Newark, New Jersey, Jack moved to Coral Gables in 1940 and attended Ponce de Leon High School and graduated with a law degree from the University of Miami. He served his country proudly during WWII as a member of the USMC. A prominent life insurance agent and retirement benefit specialist, he was highly respected in the Miami business community for over 40 years. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Ann, who he was married and devoted to for 56 years. He is also survived and lovingly remembered by his six children, William Jack Booher, Jr, Frank Boyd Booher, Elizabeth Booher Butler, Patricia Booher Frese, Robert Walter Booher and Amy Booher Shaheen, his eleven grandchildren, Lindsay Butler, Corey Butler, Melissa Booher, Katie Booher, Neil Booher, Alessandra Carrasco, William Frese, Danielle Frese, Nick Shaheen , Andrew Shaheen and Lucas Booher and one great grand son, Elijah Carrasco. A loving husband, a devoted father, he will sorely be missed by all who's lives he touched. The family will be receiving friends at their home on Friday, September 8, 2006 at 7pm. A rosary will begin at 8:30. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Catholic Church at 1400 Miller Road at 2:00 pm on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006.
