Rene Ignacio Mendez-Penate Ching Tang 1968

Rene Ignacio Mendez-Peñate died unexpectedly October 1 2013 at age 62, in Greenbrae CA. Rene worked with Marin County Community Mental Health for over 30 years, most recently as Unit Supervisor for Adult Case Management. Committed to improving the lives of those with mental illness and their families, he will be remembered for creating services for Marin’s Latino residents. A devoted husband and father, Rene shared his love of the outdoors and biking. He is survived by his wife Lydia, son Ariel, and daughter Ileana.
